Porter Wren is a Manhattan tabloid writer with an appetite for scandal. On the beat he sells murder, tragedy, and anything that passes for the truth. At home, he is a dedicated husband and father. But when Caroline, a seductive stranger asks him to dig into the unsolved murder of her filmmaker husband Simon, he is drawn into a very nasty case of sexual obsession and blackmail--one that threatens his job, his marriage, and his life.
**Ending up solving mysteries between two people risking his own family.**

The film was based on the book named 'Manhattan Nocturne'. Excellently made film, it's the director's first feature film as well. He did not get the top actors, but these actors were the good ones. Adrien Brody and Yvonne Strahovski were amazing their respective roles. It was not a detective story, but very close to being one. So if you love crime-mysteries, then you should try this. The tone of the film makes very interesting. It's not about the question of story prediction, but how cleverly it was advanced like the characters were transformed compared to the opening and the conclusion.

Some films open strongly, but ends poorly. In this case, the opening was average, but ended on a high. The main reason is the middle parts, keeping all contents together and developing some suspense with a couple of quick twists made this film to reach the expectation made by its viewers. It was a tale of a recently famed reporter finds an affair with a young widow, despite he's married with a child. Soon, he discovers some mysterious men are watching him, who threatening his family as well. How he gets out of that trouble by finding reasons behind it is what the rest of the film narrates.

It looked a lot like a television film. Not because of the production quality, actually the production was top class, but the story and its narration felt kind of like a mini-series type. I don't know how many books are there, but I want this to continue, at least as a television film series. One of the best of its kind, I almost liked everything about the film. But I still feel I underrated it, at the end I'm satisfied with what I gave. Definitely, I recommend it.

Tell me the horse story!

Manhattan Night is directed by Brian DeCubellis and DeCubellis adapts the screenplay from the novel Manhattan Nocturn written by Colin Harrison. It stars Adrien Brody, Yvonne Strahovski, Jennifer Beals, Campbell Scott, Linda Lavin and Steven Berkoff. Music is by Joel Douek and cinematography is by David Tumblety.

A New York journalist finds himself in a web of intrigue and passion when a woman asks him to investigate the mysterious death of her film director husband.

How wonderful to find that in this day and age there are still film makers willing to push film noir in its neo form up front and central. Of course the trick is knowing your staple requirements of what would be termed "pure noir", and of course noir in colour form is never going to be accepted in some quarters (understandably so). So approaching Manhattan Night to hopefully view a simple murder mystery thriller is likely to end in disappointment, for this beats a true noir heart and an understanding of that film making style and its narrative barbs should, hopefully, aid the viewing experience.

Instantly we are served a classic era slice of noirvana as Brody's journalist Porter Wren starts narrating where he is at for story origin. Soon enough a sultry babe in the form of Strahovski's femme fatale enters the fray. Tumblety establishes that under wise direction we are in the realm of neo-noir photographic compliance, the pronounced primaries will continue to be a feature as the NYC locales bristling with beauty and lurking danger. All while Douek lays out a jazzy blues musical score that's knowingly complicit as a seamy character.

DeCubellis has filled out his play with stock noir characters. The happily married man - a good father, giving in to temptation, the femme with a painful back story - which is compounded by a husband who is into psychotic love. The rich wealthy man damaged physically to the point of crushing his masculinity,
and his hired goons who like their work way too much. Into the mix is the murder mystery, incriminating video footage, some family peril and a whole lot of eroticism. Welcome to Noirville!

It's not all dandy film making though. DeCubellis is guilty of letting Berkoff way overact in the first half of his character's story, but this is off set later in the film as Berkoff reins it in and gives us something more subtle and touching. The director/writer also gives us an ending that doesn't have the courage to really beat a black heart, which is annoying since the pic has been set up previously as such. Yet there's so much to admire here, so much so it would be nice to see DeCubellis stay in this zone and take Tumblety with him. 8/10

While ‘The Day Shall Come’ never takes its scathing satire to its limits, it’s an enjoyable romp that’s sure to divide audiences as much as it makes them laugh. The end credits are a chilling reminder of why films like this exist in the first place.

> _It sort of works like this – you're freaked out by 9/11, you have to cover yourself because you're implicated in some of the sloppy procedures that led to 9/11, so you talk the threat up, you say there's a sleeper cell in every city and then you go and find it. Now, you don't know what you're looking for, and classically in the FBI, you talk about other people, the Other, you look at brown and black people because they are more likely, you think, to be a problem. And if somebody sticks their head up in one of those communities, then you surround them with 'false friends', informants who will offer them money and friendship to try to lure them along a carefully scripted program of self-incrimination, which results in that person going to jail. And you'll say to the court, as a prosecutor, "_is it better that this person go to jail, or should we let them back out on the streets?" And the juries always say, "better put them in jail_."_

So that true story, along with loads of others, informs the story which is in the film, and in that case, in the Liberty City Seven case, six out of seven of them were Haitian Catholics._

It can't be easy to write effective political satire at a time when the headlines of _The Onion_ and _Waterford Whispers_ don't read that differently from the headlines of _The New York Times_ and _The Guardian_. Truly, we are in an epoch where many public figures have become the satirical apotheoses of themselves, making it difficult to satirise either them or the institutions that enable them. Difficult, but not impossible, certainly not for a satirist as talented as the legendary Chris Morris (_The Day Today_; _Brass Eye_; _Nathan Barley_; _Four Lions_), who was pedalling 'fake news' long before Donald Trump decided to destabilise the entire geopolitical sphere, all the while claiming he won the popular and that the people of France were chanting his name during protests against Emmanuel Macron.

Written by Morris and Jesse Armstrong and directed by Morris, _The Day Shall Come_ is inspired by real-life incidents such as the Liberty City Seven and the Newburgh Sting, and aims its satirical ire at the FBI and how they conduct themselves in relation to terrorist cells within the US. And as one would expect from Morris, it's darkly comic until it turns deadly series, a transition that drives home the concept that, yes, what the FBI is doing is farcical and satire-worthy, but so too is it destroying lives, and that isn't especially funny. It's a very delicate balancing act, but Morris pulls it off for the most part. As politicians, journalists, and law enforcement scramble to turn the entire planet into a Harold Pinter play, Morris's is a voice that deserves to be heard, and although _The Day Shall Come_ isn't a patch on the superb _Four Lions_, it's still a bitingly funny study of institutionalised paranoia, garnished with some good old-fashioned racism.

Miami, FL; poverty, racial disparity, and gentrification have created an underlying tension in the city, as the gap between rich and poor continues to widen. Moses Al Shabaz (a superb debut performance from Marchánt Davis) is a self-proclaimed preacher and the leader of Star of Six, a revolutionary group that worships Allah, "Black Santa", and Toussaint L'Ouverture, and that aims to overthrow the "_accidental dominance of the white people_". However, there are significant problems; Moses and his wife Venus (the always eye-catching Danielle Brooks) are close to being evicted, Star of Six has no money and only four members, and Moses refuses to use guns. He also has mental health problems, and his plan to overthrow white dominance is to call upon the dinosaurs held in stasis by the CIA. When he doesn't take his medication, he's also prone to hallucinations – evidenced insofar as he's convinced that his horse can talk and that both God and Satan are speaking to him through a duck. However, despite having the "_threat signature of a hot dog_", Star of Six end up on the FBI radar, monitored by the idealistic Agent Kendra Glack (Anna Kendricks). With Glack's superior, Agent Andy Mudd (the always fantastic Denis O'Hare), determined to uncover "_the next 9/11_", he orders Glack to find evidence that Star of Six is engaged in terrorist activity, and if no such evidence exists, then she should fabricate some, because it's easier to manufacture a fake terrorist than it is to find a real one. And so begins a farcical series of events, involving an air horn, a sheikh affiliated with al-Qaeda, a group of Neo-Nazis, weapon-grade uranium, ray-guns, a lot of beans and urine, a nuclear emergency in Miami, another nuclear emergency in Miami, a donut shop, a toy crossbow, and a rocket launcher.

_The Day Shall Come_ was inspired by real-life incidents such as the Liberty City Seven (where seven men were convicted of terrorist activities after a sting operation in which the FBI persuaded them to begin planning for an attack on Chicago) and the Newburgh Sting (where the FBI manipulated four Muslims to become more militant, with the aim of shooting down American aircraft flying out of Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, NY. All four were convicted of terrorist activity). After the initial arrest of the Liberty City Seven, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales announced that the group, who called themselves the Universal Divine Saviors, were jihadi terrorists who had been preparing for "_a full ground war against the United States_". His comments, however, weren't even a little accurate. In actual fact, the Saviors planned to ride into Chicago on horseback, meeting any resistance by charging at them cavalry-style. They also planned to blow up Willis Tower, which would fall into nearby Lake Michigan, with the resulting tidal wave flooding the city. So, you know, very practical stuff. Morris heard about the case and Gonzales's claims in a UK news report, and three years later, he met someone who'd been involved with the Saviors' trial. This person told him the truth about the case – that the people supposedly planning "_a full ground war_" were a group of seven unemployed construction workers, who had been offered $50,000 by an FBI informant to begin planning for an attack on Chicago. As they were broke, they accepted the cash, subsequently riffing ideas until they came up with their Willis Tower ideas. Additionally, despite Gonzalez intimating that the Savors were jihadis, they were, in fact, Haitian Catholics. As Morris began to research, he learned that such absurdities were not confined to the Liberty City Seven case. Straying dangerously close to entrapment, since 9/11 it had become standard operating procedure for FBI informants to actively encourage persons of interest to engage in terrorist activities. And when they do, the FBI arrest them. This utterly insane manner of business forms the spine of the film.

Like most of Morris's work, _The Day Shall Come_ is a Juvenalian satire. Is it as funny as _Four Lions_? No. Is it as funny as _The Day Today_ or _Brass Eye_? God in heaven, no (what is?). However, you simply can't go too wrong with Chris Morris, and there are plenty of laughs to be found here. For example, there's the terror suspect who an FBI informant is trying to get to dial a number to detonate a nearby bomb, but who refuses to press the number five, proclaiming, "_I'm scared of fives. Five is evil_", to which Mudd, who's listening in on the conversation, reacts by screaming, "_did we know he was a pentaphobe?_" Because that's a thing.
Especially funny is the exchange between Mudd and Glack as Mudd explains that to diffuse the nuclear emergency declared by the Miami PD, she must also declare a nuclear emergency;

> **Glack**: _What do you need from me, sir?_

>**Mudd**: _Right, well, we know this emergency is groundless._

>**Glack**: _Correct. Right._

>**Mudd**: _But the emergency exists. And you can't take control of something if you're saying it doesn't exist._

>**Glack**: _Okay._

>**Mudd**: _So we have to acknowledge that the emergency exists._

>**Glack**: _Eh...yeah, well, no. Sorry, if we say, "Yes, it exists" isn't that the same as declaring a nuclear emergency ourselves?_

>**Mudd**: _Technically yourself, but, yeah._

>**Glack**: _So...to stop a nuclear emergency I have to declare a nuclear emergency?_

>**Mudd**: _Yes. The logic only works if you say it slowly. Keep the contradictory elements apart._

>**Glack**: _I'd look insane._

>**Mudd**: _Only if you say it fast._

This exchange is a pretty good example of the type of comedy featured throughout the film, layering the ridiculous on top of the farcical. There's also a very definitive Armando Iannucci vibe, recalling some of the more irreverent conversations in _In the Loop_ (2009) and the criminally underrated _The Death of Stalin_ (2017). This shouldn't come as a surprise given that Iannucci co-created _The Day Today_ with Morris (amongst others) and the two also worked together on Veep.

Elsewhere, Miami Chief of Police Settmonk (James Adomian) gives us another good example of Morris's use of absurdity when he argues, "_unarmed white man, unarmed black man. Which one is more likely to have the gun?_", a line that's hilarious on its own, but profoundly troubling when applied to a real-world context (as all good satire should be). Another line worth mentioning is when Mudd and Glack are debating the merits of what they're doing – Glack feels they're straying perilously close to entrapment, but Mudd argues that they have to employ such extreme measures, or their entire way of life would be in jeopardy and "_the next thing you know, the Statue of Liberty's wearing a burqa and we've beheaded Bruce Springsteen._" Again, a funny line, but given the irrational hysteria and baseless paranoia that forms the basis of how so many Americans feel about Muslims, once again, we can see Morris alluding to very troubling aspects of the American psyche without coming right out and saying, "_you guys are nuts._"

On the film's official website, Morris writes, "The Day Shall Come _reflects how institutionalised paranoia corrupts our thinking._" The line about the Statue of Liberty is a good example of this, but the theme is peppered throughout the film, with no less than five references to a "_black jihad_" (a concept that seems laughable to sane ears, but is not so far-fetched when one realises that 31% of Americans believe a race war is imminent). However, despite the heavyweight theme, Morris never allows the film to become didactic – the truths he espouses are always subtly layered with the comedy beats. Again, the Statue of Liberty line is a good example, as is the "_unarmed black man_" line – lines in which Morris is addressing hugely important issues, but without ever giving the impression of talking down to the audience; he's certainly being irreverent and sarcastic, but at no point does he become condescending or patronising. This is a very difficult line to walk, but anyone familiar with _The Day Today_ or _Brass Eye_ will recognise Morris's ability to viciously critique social ills without sounding preachy. Indeed, towards the end of the film (and like _Four Lions_, _The Day Shall Come_ gets extremely dark and devastatingly serious as it approaches its _dénouement_), Morris distils everything down to a very simple maxim – the conduct of the FBI may be absurd, but it has a very real human cost. Yes, we can (and probably should) laugh at the bureaucratic nonsense, general ineptitude, and shocking amorality, but that does not imply we should laugh at the results. The FBI's operational norms may be the stuff of farce, but those farcical norms are putting real people (who are almost exclusively poor and black or brown) in jail for a very long time. Which turns out to be a not especially funny punchline.

_The Day Shall Come_ isn't Morris's best, but it is still Chris Morris, and so it deserves attention. Irreverent, sarcastic, condemnatory, and politically incendiary, the film posits that the FBI is doing more harm than good as they target poor communities in the hopes of finding someone (anyone) planning the next 9/11. And if they can't find someone, they'll create that someone themselves. All in the name of good optics. As funny as it is, the film is also bracing and, by the time the end credits roll, sobering. And perhaps Morris's greatest achievement here is to present something comical to the audience, encourage us to laugh at it, and then pull the rug out from under us, showing us that it may not have been all that funny to begin with.

After 12 years, **Dom Hemingway** (Jude Law) finally gets the Call. It is time for him to leave prison and collect what is owed him. 12 years in prison have really fueled this guy's hatred and there are plenty of things to take care of, like the man who stole his wife, the man who got him into jail and who owes him and lastly, the daughter who wants nothing to do with him.

There is a lot to dislike about this guy, but for some reason, I don't. Dom is a loser, but he just doesn't know it. Dom has all the self-esteem that a man will ever need, and yet, his life is falling apart around him.

Dom Hemingway is not an original movie, but thats ok, all movies doesn't have to be original to be worth watching. This movie, like Dom, has just the right amount of self-esteem, arrogance and cockiness, it believes that it is more than it is, and that makes all the difference. Jude Law delivers a great performance as Dom, especially the scenes where he rambles (like the opening scene), and the scenes where he tries to win back his daughter, is where Mr. Law earns his wages. I don't mind that he is a bit over the top, that is, as far as I am concerned, the strength of the movie.

Dom Hemingway is a movie in the tradition of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and RockNRolla, only... better, if you ask me. It wants to tell us a story about a man, a man that we all know, a man that we can all relate to, it is not just here to entertain us, it is here to convince us that it has both heart and soul.

_Last words... don't expect this movie to change your life, but watch it regardless, and take a moment to reflect over the things that are worth changing in your own life. It won't give you answers, but it might just give you the kick in the balls, that sends you in the right direction._

The film is worth watching only for Jude Law in the title role. All the other character were weak, only he was the bright shining spot in it. The story also should have been better. At least improvising Emilia Clarke's part as she was in a an important role would have had a good impact on the film. Of course, it's a black-comedy-drama in the crime theme, but utilise its full potential to go some extent like maybe some interesting crime plots.

A few segments were quite absorbing like bet on to open the safe and France visit. There's no smooth storytelling, but the constant rise and fall of the main character was the reason for the lag in development and its pace. The overall point was very clear in portraying a struggling ex con and how he adapts to a new life or he desires to go back to his old life tells the remaining film. So some people might like or liked it, but I did not. Just below average film, but it's okay to watch once.

After being put on a supposedly uninhabited island as a form of behavioral rehabilitation, a high school senior finds that he's not alone on the island, and that getting discovered could be deadly.
True survival horror is not a thing we see a lot of these days, and it's even rarer to see it done truly well. _Prey_ an example of the former, but not so much the latter. It is okay, and reading some audience reviews of _Prey_ it seems like I did enjoy it more than most, but I can definitely see those complaints being made as valid.

_Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
Prey stalks its victims by offering a suspense-free horror flick that seems more idyllic than terrifying. Y’know, when I temporarily go insane or witness a traumatic incident, I openly discuss my feelings with a therapist or spend the day watching films involving eternal happiness. Had I been referred to a behavioural rehabilitation programme that sends its clients to a supposedly uninhabited island for three days for the purpose of “finding myself”, with only your survival instincts equipped, well I’d probably be a much different person than I am now. These are psychologically disturbed characters, granted the freedom of an entire island, to do whatever the heck they want. Build a campsite, create some intricate traps, slaughter the local wildlife and even murder each other. The insurance costs must’ve been catastrophic!

Khalfoun conceives a ridiculously contrived premise and, essentially, serves it to the demonic beast entity thing that prowls the luscious jungles of the island. What is a horror film without suspense? What is a psychological thriller without character development? What is a film without entertainment? Khalfoun irrefutably understands no element into adequate filmmaking. None! Cheap mundane jump scares that were predictable right down to the very second. More plot holes than a washed up sponge from the nearby capsized boat. Enough foreshadowing to plunge the island into everlasting darkness. Aside from Miller who atleast attempted to bypass the shoddy script he was given, the acting was weaker than a coconut branch surviving a monsoon. Expositional flashbacks, that resembled advertisements for a “hot rod” vehicle, clumsily spliced into the main narrative through inexplicably basic editing.

However, what truly makes Prey a bloodthirsty piece of life drainage, are the details. We are to believe that a young girl and her mother, have lived on the island for over a decade. That’s fine and all, but when she looks fresher than a speared fish, something’s not right. Eyebrows plucked, makeup on point, hair pristinely straight as she conditions using TRESemmé. You sure she didn’t reside in a salon for a decade? Not to mention Toby transforms into Bear Grylls in a matter of days. Where the hell did that come from!?

Khalfoun attempts to fool audiences by leading viewers down the path of imagination. Inferring that the protagonist is in fact fabricating all this nonsense. The five minute self-conversational scene explicitly hypothesised that his lunacy was profound. Yet whilst that would’ve been clichéd and typically dull, that scenario would’ve fared better than the one devised by Khalfoun. Cult rituals. Voodoo shenanigans. Cave full of multi-coloured paintings. All culminating into an ending that made me want to squish some numbing berries onto the disc and serve it to the beast itself. What was that? Seriously! I loathe endings that make the whole ordeal pointless. Detest them. Especially when there was a perfectly available boat in the middle of the film! Where did the rescue raft go that was beached by the programme manager? The CGI demonic swine could obviously swim, considering that atrocious conclusion.

Urgh. No more. Atleast Robbins’ cinematography made the idyllic island endurable. Prey exercises all of the worst traits found in uninspired low-budget horrors, and doesn’t even attempt to hide from its predatory allurement, consequently cementing this as one of the worst of the year.

Wanted by the mafia, a New York City bike messenger escapes into the world of parkour after meeting a beautiful stranger.
Okay, so maybe cinema life has not been so kind to hunky hotshot Taylor Lautner in the aftermath of the phenomenon ‘Twilight’ film series that had a majority of hysterical young female admirers drooling over their bags of stale movie house popcorn. The good news for the youthful muscled Romeo is that there will be ‘Twilight’ tarts lining up just to see Lautner read the middle section of your Aunt Mabel’s phonebook. In the derivative and disjointed street thriller ‘Tracers’, the chiseled Lautner will certainly be a draw for the hormonal honeys out there looking for an excuse to scream at the top of their hysterical lungs. As a vanity vehicle for the ex-Twilight lothario the underwhelming ‘Tracers’ may very well take a backseat to the option of watching the film’s star recite the aforementioned phonebook.

The best sell in ‘Tracers’ is indeed Lautner’s kinetic physicality for athletically bouncing around in a synthetic, boneless urban suspense piece. The doubts are not questioned in Lautner’s labeling as being an impressive physical specimen. After all, the performer certainly gives it his all in assuring that his fitness and finesse are on display to charge ‘Tracers’ with a sense of fueled urgency. It is too bad that director Daniel Benmayor oversees a fast-paced but flaccid actioner that offers a skimpy story in between the impressive gymnastic gestures of Lautner’s harried character.

So what is the fundamental foundation that feeds the relevance of ‘Tracers’ existence? Well, in addition to showing off the streetwise marvelous moves as demonstrated by the movie’s lead star, the gimmick involves acrobatic movements known as parkour. Hey, ‘Tracers’…the mid-80s called and it wants its outdated fad back! Sure, the art of parkour was indeed an instrumental wonderment that gave distinction to the awe-dropping French import ‘District B13′ but, in the case of ‘Tracers’, the stunts looks woefully repetitive and never really gives any considerable flavor to the strained action or transparent storyline.

New York-based bike messenger Cam (Lautner) zips through the streets much like an errand bullet from a shaky gun. The cluttered and busy streets of the Big Apple does not stop Cam from doing what he does best on bicycle wheels in terms of darting to his assigned destinations. However, the crafty Cam receives some considerable heat when he is targeted by tough Chinese gangsters to whom he owes some big time money. Cam’s antagonistic street thugs are not too patient with the beleaguered biker to grant them an expected payback. Bottom line: Cam needs to pay up or he and his loved ones will pay the ultimate price by being snuffed out from the street-minded riff raff.

Things start to look up for the compromised Cam when his accidental bike crash results in his meeting (and inevitable attraction) to the fetching bad girl Nikki (Maria Avgeropoulos). The ‘parkour princess’ was ducking and dodging the cops prior to her rimmed run-in with Cam. Nikki, both sensual and sinister, triggers Cam’s imagination and spoils him instantly with a new bike, not to mention his introduction to her parkour partners-in-crime, a bunch of high-flying, graffiti-loving street renegades that spend the majority of the time leaping and flipping on the city’s concrete surfaces. Nikki’s clique seem to hop and bop more convincingly than a twitchy kangaroo with a hot foot. Alas, Cam has a new crew and has adapted to the physical philosophies of parkour where he predictably excels at without question. Even the hyperactive group’s leader Miller (Adam Raynor) is tickled by Cam’s ability to soar in the air and make the hardened urban streets his personalized pouncing playground.

In its own clumsy way, ‘Tracers’ is well-intentioned because it strives to promote the art of parkour in the spirit of all those conveyor belt break-dancing movies that the studios kept churning out in the mid-1980s. There are some spunky and well shot scenes with New York’s edgy landscape as the convenient backdrop for action-packed mischievousness. Plus ‘Tracers’ is…um…Taylor-made for the fit-looking Lautner to showcase his inherent athleticism on full display for the masses (read: the ladies) to be awed over with wonderment. Nevertheless, ‘Tracers’ never taps into anything innovative or creative to go along with the aerobatic awareness that the movie pushes so eagerly. The flat and thinly-veiled story, patched-together montages of parkour-inspired pluckiness, the toothless tease of an eye-rolling love triangle among Lautner’s Cam, Avgeropoulos’s Nikki and Raynor’s Miller and the ambivalence of Lautner’s Cam to stroll in the garden of trouble-making tendencies all renders ‘Tracers’ as a weak-kneed crime caper that ironically lacks any genuine animated bounce-and-pounce.

Granted this flimsy, frenetic vehicle is structured for Lautner’s on-screen fitness skill set but the spotty material never quite capitalizes on the star’s charisma or potential to enhance the skimpy plot with some meaty revelation. The stunning Avgeropoulos serves as automatic eye candy but her Nikki never manages to muster up any mysteriousness or cunning curiosity pertaining to her ‘dangerous diva’ persona.

Indeed, the pulsating platitudes in Benmayor’s impish but incomplete tumble-and-rumble tale is without a noticeable trace.

I think the first time I saw a movie that had Parkour in it was the 'District B13'. After that plenty of flicks came, among them this one as well. The movie was about a struggling young bike messenger who meets a girl belong to Parkour gang. Later he joins them that changes his fate, but whether he gets the girl or not, that tells with the thrilling story development and some amazing stunts.

Ever since the 'Twilight' series, I wanted Taylor Lautner to make his foot steady in his acting career. Because I was rooting his werewolves gang in that movie. His last movie I saw was three years ago, 'Abducted' that did not go well. At least this one looked much better, but not enough. Like always I hope he comes back stronger.

Considering this film, the story was as old as the cinemas. A reused plot, there's nothing new. More like another version of 'Point Break', but everything was under a limit. Adding the Parkour and bike stunts to it, gives somewhat a new flavour. The young actors and fresh faces were highlights. From coming under the B movie category, it is simply a nice entertainer, but appraising from the out of that, definitely a disappointment. In the end everything is how you look it and what you get from it.
